The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park is set to open in 2020 at Disneyland in Anaheim, California and at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

In order to create a fully immersive experience for guests visiting the parks, Disney is building a number of Star Wars-themed rides, shops and restaurants for visitors to enjoy.

One such attraction is the Build-Your-Own Lightsaber Workshop at Oga’s Cantina where guests can customize their own saber with different colors, options and finishes.

How much does it cost?

The Build-Your-Own Lightsaber Workshop costs $50 per lightsaber. You will have the option of choosing between two hilts: one based on Kylo Ren’s hilt or one based on Darth Maul’s hilt. Both hilts are made by Master Replicas and come with a certificate of authenticity.

The cost of building a lightsaber at Galaxy’s Edge is $150. This is the only way to get one outside of the parks, and that price includes the cost of shipping it home. You can also choose to have it shipped directly to your hotel room, but that will add another $25.

If you want to build a lightsaber at Galaxy’s Edge, you must first go into the store and choose your color for the blade and handle. Then, you will head over to a workbench where your lightsaber will be created. The process takes about 20 minutes, so plan accordingly if you have time constraints.

The lightsaber you build is yours to keep and use throughout your visit at Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resort.
